Knut Arne Holthe, président de l'Association norvégienne musher (NHF), confirme que le contrat entre l'IFSS (Fédération internationale de Sleddog Sport) et NHF a été signé lors de l'AGA à Bruxelles le 31 mai 2014.
Président IFSS, Helen Lundberg, a exprimé des attentes élevées pour l'événement, et l'Assemblée générale a approuvé le choix de l'organisateur et le pays arrangeur avec ovation.
Les deux clubs Alta Trekkhundklubb et Finnmarksløpet AS sont excités et ont hâte d'accueillir les concurrents, les bénévoles, les médias, les partenaires à participer à la Finnmarksløpet 2015.
Alta trekkhundklubb and Finnmarksløpet will be hosting the World Championship for long-distance dogsledding in 2015, in both open, limited as well as the junior class.
